Born on the Promenade
TelAviv Cycle was founded in 2019 by Tamar Katz and Gideon Navon, two urban cycling advocates who had spent years frustrated by the lack of quality bike rental on Tel Aviv's iconic seafront promenade.
They opened a small shop at Herbert Samuel 42 with 20 bikes, a simple booking system and a big belief: that the best way to discover a city is slowly enough to see it, but fast enough to feel free. Within two years, TelAviv Cycle had grown to 85 bikes, 12 guided tour routes and more than 30,000 happy riders.
Today, TelAviv Cycle is the highest-rated cycling experience in Tel Aviv on every major travel platform, operated by a team of 14 cycling enthusiasts who know every alley, route and hidden viewpoint in the city.
